At My Perfect Pups, we are passionate about ethical and responsible dog breeding. Our priority is the well-being and health of our puppies. We carefully select our breeding dogs and ensure they undergo extensive health testing to minimize the risk of genetic health issues. Our puppies are raised in a loving and social environment, receiving proper care, nutrition, and early socialization to ensure they grow into well-adjusted and happy dogs.

We do and have done for many years followed The Puppy Plan.

The Puppy Plan is a program developed by the Kennel Club and Dogs Trust alongside top dog behaviourists in order to promote responsible breeding practices among dog breeders. The aim of this initiative is to ensure the welfare and well-being of puppies from birth until they find their forever homes, I can't recommend enough that you follow it after puppy has left for there new home.

We started breeding back in 2007 after falling head over heals following a litter sired by my Standard Poodle, Dave, and a friends Golden Labrador, an idea I wasn't initially keen on at the time refusing the first time they asked as I had 3 rescue dogs at the time, but 6 months later I gave in, possibly the best decision of my life  as exactly 9 weeks to the day later I was there and witnessed the arrival of new babies, I spent most of the next 10 weeks with them and was so sad when the last baby left for it's new home. Looking back on it and with the years of experience I have now there were so many things I would have done differently, but at the time we did our very best for the babies. This started the slow journey to being a professional full time dog breeder and living my best life having new babies throughout the year, I still have the same excitement I did back then at the arrival of new life.
